The Multilingual-Multicultural Affairs Committee of the IALP has recently completed a series of answers to common questions about speech therapy services for multilingual populations. These include:
· Progressive aphasia and Alzheimer’s disease
· Teaching in a diverse classroom
· Child language development
· Parent concerns
The documents are available on the IALP website, but the MMA committee asks for your help in sharing this information with your members. Possible avenues might be by linking to the documents from your website, or by including the links in your correspondence with your members. I have attached copies of the documents for your convenience.
We would be grateful for your support. The Committee Chair (Prof. Wiebke Scharff Rethfeldt: w.scharff.rethfeldt@hs-bremen. de) or I are of course happy to discuss this further.
Kind regards
Emily Hunt
